The WP Under Construction app, will allow your traffic to contact you, spread your launch date via social media, sign up to your RSS feed, and even take advantage of discounted, one time or free offers only available during the under construction phase, (or when the timer is active).
The source code is easy to navigate, so even a total newbie, could easily change the text style if needed.
The general settings, custom log color, text style and format can be easily changed. And if you have an account with Pinterest, (or any of the other ones shown above) for example you can add your own link if needed.

As for the countdown timer graphic link, if you don't like the green button, then as long as it is a similar size to the original graphic, etc and loaded up again, then you could put whatever you like there.
